Maintenance Engineer - FMCG
Location - Cambridgeshire
Salary - Up to 56,500
Shift Pattern - PANAMA style night shift

Henderson Brown is delighted to be partnering with a respected FMCG manufacturer based in Cambridgeshire, who are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team. Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the maintenance of plant equipment, including both mechanical and electrical systems
Maintain a plant maintenance system in line with company policies and engineering procedures
Ensure all maintenance is carried out with full regard to food safety, product quality, and health & safety
Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, minimising downtime and supporting plant uptime targets
Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to support machine trials, improvements, and developments
Maintain engineering standards and ensure work areas are kept clean and compliant
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors to complete maintenance activities efficiently

Requirements:

Time-served apprenticeship with formal electrical qualification
Experience in a similar role (such as multi skilled engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, shift engineer, shift technician, maintenance technician)
Ideally experienced within a food manufacturing environment
Confident in fault diagnosis and applying root cause analysis
